Sunday Community Gathering
Some Sundays, time varies (consult the Event Calendar for upcoming events)
We value community and belonging as part of the spiritual path. To help facilitate the development of real spiritual community (sangha), this offering is centered around giving community members the opportunity to connect, reflect on Dharma topics, and listen to each other's wisdom and stories. New community participants are always welcome. These offerings are facilitated by an Assaya Sangha teacher who often offers a Dharma theme for the day. We end our session with our two sangha questions, "Is there something you need that the community could offer?" and "Is there something you would like to offer to the community."
Sample program:
2:00 - 2:10 Meet and greet
2:10 - 2:50 Meditation and movement followed by song or reflection
2:50 - 3:10 Dharma talk
3:10 - 3:30 Small group breakouts
3:30 - 3:50 Large group discussion
3:50 - 4:00 Q&A and dedication of merit
