GENEROSITY HELPS US GROW
Please join us as we continue to grow this beloved meditation community for women practitioners. Assaya Sangha is of great value to dozens of women who consider this their spiritual home and to the greater community that our practice impacts. It's through the generosity of supporters like you that Assaya Sangha can continue to thrive and provide a nurturing space for women's meditation and growth. Your contribution will help fund our programs, maintain our in-person community gathering space, and cover our monthly operating costs. Together, we can create a more connected and compassionate world. Thank you for your support!
Bring your own lunch and water bottle. Tea will be available throughout the day.
All genders, races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations are welcome! Pre-registration is recommended.
The day promises to be an inspiring one filled with meditation, mindfulness, and meaningful connections, all in the serene setting of the Gyuto Foundation. Dharma teachers Kate Munding and Guest Teacher Tuere Sala, will offer teachings on equanimity, a treasured mental quality in Buddhism that keeps one engaged in the world while staying balanced with peace. Betsy Rose will provide music and songs in celebration of the Dharma and community. Participants are in for a truly transformative experience. And the best part? It's all for a wonderful cause, supporting Assaya Sangha's efforts to create a more inclusive and supportive community. Let's make this fundraiser the best one yet, exceeding our $10,000 goal and paving the way for even more enriching offerings in the future!

BEYOND OUR DREAMS
If we go beyond the $10,000 goal, you will be helping us expand our offering to include deeply-needed daylong retreats. If we raise $3,000 or more over the goal, you are helping us secure our own dedicated space in the San Francisco East Bay.
OUR STORY
Assaya Sangha started as a conversation between five women who wanted to know what a Dharma community might look like if envisioned and run by women for women. We launched Assaya Sangha almost four years ago, the week before the state went into full lockdown due to the pandemic. Since that time, our sangha has grown in the following ways, thanks to the many dedicated hours of our volunteers, teachers, and a very supportive community.
Perhaps most importantly, we’ve been a steady spiritual home to women through a time of great global challenge and grief. We have thrived during this time because of the tender hearts and collective wisdom that guides this community. We are so fortunate, and we are just getting started!
"The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned." - Maya Angelou
