Information About Our Programs
Most Assaya Sangha's events are held online through Zoom. Each month we have a community gathering in person. Join our community and we will send you emails about our upcoming community gatherings.
To keep our Zoom Rooms secure from unwanted visitors, we only allow women who are registered with our website to gain access to the zoom links. To register, go to How to Join Our Site. Below is a sampling of our weekly offerings.

Weekly Offerings
Assaya Sangha offers a weekly schedule of daily practice offerings. These offerings are open to all women. You can find out more about each of these offerings and get the Zoom links on the Event Registration page.

These morning meditation offerings are lead by different teachers throughout the week. The routine can differ depending on who is teaching but the basic offering includes guided or silent meditation, reflection, and a question and answer period. Sweatpants Dharma:
The atmosphere may be cozy but the Dharma goes deep!
Wednesday Evenings 7pm to 8:15 pm Pacific Time
This is our weekly meditation and Dharma talk. We recognize that in this era of COVID, many in our community are tired and experiencing screen/zoom fatigue at the end of the day. We encourage you to put on your PJs or sweatpants, bring a cup of tea and make yourself comfortable. We aspire to make this gathering a nourishing, inspiring, and enlightening experience. Currently this evening is led by Guiding Teacher, Kate Munding or a guest teacher. See schedule for details.
7:00 - 7:30 Sitting meditation
7:30 - 8:00 Dharma Talk

Sunday Community Gathering
Some Sundays 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Pacific Time (consult the schedule for upcoming events)
We value community and belonging as part of the spiritual path. To help facilitate the development of real spiritual community (sangha), this offering is centered around giving community members the oportunity to connect, reflect on Dharma topics, and listen to each other's wisdom and stories. New community participants are always welcome. These offerings are facilitated by an Assaya Sangha teacher who often offers a Dharma theme for the day. We end our session with our two sangha questions, "Is there something you need that the community could offer?" and "Is there something you would like to offer to the community."
Sample program:
2:00 - 2:10 Meet and greet
2:10 - 2:50 Meditation and movement followed by song or reflection
2:50 - 3:10 Dharma Talk
3:10 - 3:30 Small group breakouts
3:30 - 3:50 Large group discussion
3:50 - 4:00 Sangha questions and dedication of merit
