The Assaya Sangha book group meets in person at a sangha sister's home in the East Bay (California).
This month we are continuing a discussion of: Buddha's Daughters: Teachings from Women Who Are Shaping Buddhism in the West , edited by Andrea Miller. The book includes 27 essays from such writers as Pema Chodren, Joanna Macy, Roshi Joan Halifax, and others.
Please RSVP to Sharon Pancio (syron59@live.com) to let her know if you will attend and to get the meeting address or other information.
No ongoing commitment is required and it is not necessary to read the entire book to attend.
If you are joining us to discuss the book, please pick a passage from the book to share with the group that speaks to you or informs your life and/or practice.
