Please join us for a special day of practice, connection, and generosity as we come together to support Assaya Sangha. Your Dana helps fund our ongoing programs, maintain our in-person community gathering space, and cover essential monthly operating costs. Together, we can sustain and grow this beloved home for women practitioners, ensuring it remains a place of refuge and inspiration for years to come.
Assaya Sangha has become a spiritual home to dozens of women and a source of compassion that ripples out into the larger community. Through the generosity of supporters like you, we are able to provide nurturing spaces for meditation, growth, and shared wisdom. Your contribution keeps our circle strong and allows us to continue fostering connection, resilience, and awakening.
The day promises to be an inspiring one—filled with meditation, mindfulness, and meaningful connections in the serene setting of the Gyuto Foundation. Dharma teachers Kate Munding and guest teacher Anushka Fernandopulle will offer teachings on equanimity, a treasured quality in Buddhism that supports us in staying engaged with the world while remaining balanced in peace.
Together, let’s celebrate practice, community, and generosity as we continue to build a more connected and compassionate world.
KEEP IN MIND:
- Please arrive on time. We'll be starting the day by creating a sacred container together. It helps if everyone is present and that the rituals are not interrupted.
- If you are coming by car, a parking lot is up the driveway. If the lot is full, you can park on the street in front or park in the overflow parking lot just up the road on Bernhard Ave. If you face the main entrance, the overflow parking is the first left up the street.
- Drop-in registration is allowed . We'll have QR codes you can scan to register or donate if you bring someone at the last minute.
- If you plan to attend by Zoom, please feel free to create space in your home that will support your day of practice. You can also bring an altar item to be in the space with you if you wish (see below). Zoom information is at the end of this email
