Wise Action: Support Community Fridges Sandwich-making

This Wise Action event takes place at an Assaya sister's home in Oakland. We will make sandwiches and prepare individual servings of fruit and veggies to distribute to 3 neighborhood fridges in Berkeley and Oakland. These fridges provide food for those who are food insecure in a way that is respectful and allows them to make choices about their needs. We will also be collecting any canned or boxed donations to stock the shelves that sit next to the refrigerators. Other items like diapers, soap, toothpaste, and cleaning supplies are also very welcome.
