The Assaya Sangha book group meets in person at a sangha sister's home in the East Bay (California).

This month we are discussing, " You Belong: A Call for Connection " by Sebene Selassie.   Meditation teacher Sebene Selassie writes about her feelings of not belonging as an immigrant, woman of color and cancer survivor. Using guidance rooted in Buddhist practice, she reminds us of our inter-connectedness.

No ongoing commitment is required and it is not necessary to read the entire book to attend.
